About Glenrock
Glenrock a 20 600 acres (8404ha) high country sheep and beef property is nestled in the head waters of the Rakaia River. The station has been in the Ensor family for 4 generations and is now owned by Duncan and Fiona Ensor and their 3 young children. |

Glenrock Lodge is a cool place to enjoy the outdoors with amazing views of up and down the river and of the Southern Alps, which are amazing in the winter months with the snow capped mountains. There is a wide range of great walks to be had for all levels on and off the farm, mountain biking, rock climbing, jet boating, bird watching and awesome trout and salmon fishing, with the Glenariffe Stream and the Rakaia River right at your doorstep. Glenrock is the only property up the Rakaia Gorge which is situated only 5 minutes walk down to the rivers edge and also has boat access. The river provides a lot of fun for the young and young at heart with swimming, dam building, tyre rides, kayaking and much more |

How to get to Glenrock
Glenrock is 1½ hrs drive west of Christchurch airport and 40 minutes from Methven and the Mt Hutt ski field turn-off. From HighWay 72 turn onto Blackford Road which is on the south side of the Rakaia River and Glenrock is 35kms from there.
Glenrock Lodge can sleep a total in beds of 28 people with more available if needed. The cottage sleeps 10 and the Cookshop 18. The houses can be booked together or separately.

Accommodation at Glenrock
We have 2 houses available, both are fully self-contained with log-burner, and come with full amenities. The sections have a big play area for the young and young at heart to spread themselves out to explore.

The farm is very safe for children with both house’s fully fenced. We have a wide range of pet animals for the children to play round with such as, pet lambs that get bottle feed in the spring, guinea pigs, dogs and puppies every now and again, ducks that love bread, chooks that need feeding and their eggs collected, pigs and a big mob of pet sheep to play with and feed. The farm has lots of
amenities, including a communal swimming pool and both house's have a
dishwasher, outdoor furniture and a BBQ area.

Rm 6 has 2 single beds and it is also done up as a childrens play room for fun
